Singer, Tems makes history as first Nigerian female artiste to make solo debut on Billboard Hot 100

Nigerian superstar talented songstress, Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems, has achieved a huge career milestone.

She has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her solo hit song “Free Mind” off her For Broken Ears EP.

Tems’ feat has edged her name in history as the first female Nigerian artiste to make the Billboard 100 charts solo debut. She peaked at No. 90, making it her fourth time appearing on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Meanwhile, the news was announced after the trailer for Marvel’s Black Panther sequel, “Wakanda Forever” which features her song as a soundtrack.
