Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems becomes the first female Nigerian artist to win Best International Act awards at the just concluded 2022 BET Awards.
The songstress won Best International Act at the ceremony which held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, on Sunday night.
Also, Tems bagged the award for the Best Collaboration with Wizkid’s “Essence” featuring Justin Bieber. Renowned Nigerian Music star, Davido took to his official Instagram page on Tuesday, June 28 to congratulate her on the wins.
He wrote; ”Anybody can inspire you, congrats girl”.
