Portable Queries NDLEA Over Arrest Of Zinoleesky and Mohbad. Nigerian fast rising singer, Portable has reacted to the arrest of his colleagues, Zinoleesky and Mohbad during a midnight raid by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA).
NDLEA operatives stormed the singers’ residence in Lagos late Wednesday night in a raid for alleged drug peddlers.
A video making the rounds on social media shows the moment a when NDLEA officers raid and arrested Zinoleesky and Mohbad.
NDLEA Spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement to The Cable on Thursday, said Cannabis and Molly were recovered by the operatives.
“Our men raided an area in Idado estate where Bịara Market boys stay. Some quantities of C@nnabis sativa and M0lly were recovered from their apartment and car. “Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males,” he said.
Reacting to the development, Portable queried the agency and asked if citizens are no longer free to do as they please in their homes with regards to smoking m@rijuana.
He then went ahead to issue a threat to anyone who may nurse the desire to also try raiding his residence or to arrest him.
”Should we not smoke weed in our house again? Are you the ones that built our house or bought land for us? What is it?
“Everybody should mind their business oh! If you near my side, you go collect! I should not smoke weed in my father’s house? We would beat ourselves to death,” he said.
