Popular Nigerian rapper, Panshak Zamani, professionally known as Ice Prince, has been arrested.
He was arrested for allegedly abducting and ass@ulting a police officer. The Lagos state police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a statement on Friday.
According to the spokesman, Ice Prince was stopped around 3am for driving a car without license plates.
He was said to have agreed to follow the police man to the station, only for him to drive the officer to an unknown location and allegedly threaten to throw him into a river.
Hundeyin said the rap star would be arraigned in court today, September 2, 2022. The statement reads; “At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates.
“He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, ass@ulted him and thre@tened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today”.
