Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky has been finally released from the police custody.
Recall that Bobrisky was sentenced to six months prison in April with no fine after he was arrested over the abuse of Naira.
The arrest was made on the movie premiere of actress Eniola Ajao’s film ‘Ajakaju’. EFCC arraigned Bobrisky in court on a six-count charge ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering.
The court, however, dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira Abuse after he confessed to the crime. The court also ordered that he be remanded in EFCC detention in Lagos.
In latest development, Bobrisky was released after serving his six months in jail.
A video capturing his release showed the crossdresser being happily received by Eniola Ajao and their other female friend.
