“It made me sad” – Johnny Drille says after walking on the streets of Lagos without being recognised (Video)

Nigerian renowned singer and songwriter, Johnny Drille has conducted a social experiment to see how popular he is in Lagos.

He disguised himself with a face mask and boarded a danfo bus to check whether anyone would recognise him as an artiste.

Johnny Drille, who is signed to Mavin Records filmed the entire experiment from the moment he entered a bus and walked on ever busy streets of Lagos.

He said that it was the first time in five years he would be going out in a pedestrian manner since he became a celebrity in 2017.

Surprisingly to the singer, nobody could recognise him, and he said that made him sad. He went further to consider making music for the streets and made an open call to Portable.

Sharing the clip, he wrote; ”The result of my social experiment”.
