“I owe you my freedom and sanity” – Seun Kuti breaks silence after release from prison

Embattled Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti has broken his silence a few hours after he was released from prison on bail.

In the late hours of yesterday, Seun Kuti was released from prison on bail by the Lagos State police command.

While confirming the release of Seun Kuti, the lawyer Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika told journalists; “Yes, Ṣeun Kuti was released minutes ago. His bail conditions had been perfected since last Thursday, but the police asked for an extension to remand him in their custody until today (Tuesday), to conclude an investigation.”

A few hours after his release, Suen Kuti has taken to his page to show appreciation to his lawyer, his family, and loved ones who stood by him and also made his release possible.
