Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has spoken following his recent arrest over owing N14 million car balance.
The ‘Zazoo’ hit maker took to his Instagram page as he expressed gratitude to God for helping him during his trials in the police custody.
It can be recalled that Portable was granted bail after his arrest for allegedly buying an N27 million Mercedes Benz and reneging on his promise to pay the balance.
Following his release, he revealed that it was God that took control and vindicated him at the police station.
It is worth noting that the Ogun state born singer, on Thursday, ignited social media with a snippet of his upcoming song, ‘Spiderman’, which detailed his recent arrest by the police in Lagos State.
Produced by 2tuponthebeat, the snippet came barely 48 hours after his release from police custody.
‘Spiderman’ was inspired by his rare agility, showcased when he tried to escape arrest by vaulting over an iron gate before eventually being caught.
The song began with a voice, the same one heard in the online footage following his arrest, urging the singer to comply with police instructions to avoid injury.
However, another video of him resurfaced online as he showed off wads of cash, crying out to haters to stop hating on him.
He captioned, “Spider Man God is over everything 🙏🙏🙏”.
