Ghanaian renowned actor, John Dumelo, has taken to social media to mock Nigeria’s Super Eagles following their 0-0 tie with Ghana in the first leg of their World Cup playoff in Kumasi.
The match between Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana battled last night at the Baba Yara Stadium. However, Nigeria had to settle for a 0-0 draw after VAR overruled a decision to award them a penalty.
After the match ended in a draw, the actor turned politician took to his Instagram account to mock the Nigerian players, stating that he was certain they had no chance of winning the match.
“Dear super chickens, I was very confident you won’t win this game.” He wrote.

Recall that, that John Dumelo had initially vowed to walk barefoot from his nation’s capital, Accra to Lagos, if Nigeria won the match.
“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head! Super eagles my foot!” He tweeted on Friday morning.
