When you start music and what inspired you to do music?
I started music in 2010, Music was just something I couldn’t avoid! Growing up it was just everywhere I was literally surrounded by music. The house where I resided with my family way back there was this bar at the front the owner of the bar never stops playing songs danm!! I wake up to his loud music I sleep while his loud music is till on.

I could recite the lyrics of every single song he played then and there were all cool, at a point I tried to change the lyrics of those songs and add my own lyrics with the same tune it seemed so cool I was excited about it, I began to change literary the lyrics of every song he played (now it’s called cover) tho I never recorded any but it was fun for me so I was like if I could change the lyrics of this songs and it still sounds nice maybe I could actually compose my own songs with my lyrics and tune.

I started to write my own song trust me you don’t wanna listen to any it was all whack but I didn’t stop I got better by the day and I devoted my time to it. Anytime you see me I’m alway mumbling lyrics and vibes.

I Began to write nice lines friends sang my lines and played with it really it was cool to see my friends recite my lines whenever they see me tho they might be mocking me but it was fun and at a point was like “it’ll be cool to chase a career in this field” took it seriously and yeah. We here now, So that bar man inspired me I think hahaha.

As fast rising artiste what has been your challenges so far?
Mehn a lot of challenges o! But the major is getting the right publicity! Getting the right audience to listen to your songs. What really inspired “Amarachi”, “Abia Anthem” and your latest single “Setup”?
Amarachi: Nothing aside my love for girls and good vibes. Was at home when Kiddominant called me on phone saying he has this beat he would like me to come over and check it out! I said no wahala called my manager, Dropsy telling him kiddo put call, saying he has samples of beats and my manager said no shaking we both drove to kiddos place when we got there I could hear the beat from afar it was lit the studio door was open.

I bounced and and immediately a vibe came after greeting and shaking everybody there I just gulped a joy of whisky and said “KIDDO RECORD ME” everywhere went quiet i picked up the headset and it was like and entered another realm.

In one take i vibed to the beat and we didn’t change shiiii everybody was wowed even myself couldn’t believe what I just did. Immediately Kiddo called Peruzzi and said man he got to hear this. Tobenna (Peruzzi) listed and was like “fayaaaa” told Kiddo make we come house abeg say he get verse we didn’t waste time we all went to David’s house that’s were Tobenna (Peruzzi) was staying we met for the first time made a couple videos vibed got high and he recorded a verse on the song Amarachi trust me he fvcked it up. He was already in love with the song.

Abia Anthem: JAYSWAArg just called me on phone that he would like me to do a song for my State, Abia he actually mentioned a couple of advantages after a long while of convincing I said no problem actually I was on an artiste break you know, but I just got it done.

Setup: Setup was recorded when I was shooting The visuals for Amarachi in Dubai. Dubai is a very beautiful place so I took advantage of the aesthetics and made something it was also produced by Kiddominant.

We had fun and we made good songs. I actually have a couple of other dope songs on store but we currently promoting SETUP!!! It’s out and available on all platforms.
