The talented singer, OluwaMozey who recently released his highly anticipated single “Farabale” shares how hard most upcoming artistes face in the industry. “A lot bro such as getting heard, getting shows to perform and even your own close buddy won’t take your music serious not to mention of helping, only few does that etc bro. The journey has not been easy o, But i thank God sha.” he said.

Tell us about OluwaMozey:
Names are Bejide Muyiwa Moses professionally known as “OluwaMozey“, am a Musician, I’m a Native of Osun State but based in Ibadan, Oyo State. Currently living in UAE.
So when do you start your musical career and what inspired you to do music?
Started long time ago, Let me say 2015. I love making music, i mean pouring out what’s on my mind and sharing it with people. I’m always happy while composing, that joy is so great and i love it.
Officially, when did you drop your debut single?
August 10, 2020, That’s when i dropped Silent.
What inspired your debut single “Silent”?
Listening to Burna Boy’s Album - Africa Giant, And i passed through some stuff then that i happened to know people just wanna see you finish ni if they are asking how you are not that they care.
What has been your challenges in the music industry since you started music.
Mehn, Big question, Shey na studio fees? Or meeting better producer? A lot bro such as getting heard, getting shows to perform and even your own close buddy won’t take your music serious not to mention of helping, only few does that etc bro. The journey has not been easy o, But i thank God sha.
As a fast rising act how do manage your music career with private life or work?
Man gotta sort it out o, Sometimes i write music at work and work on my music too if I’m chanced, I only make music when i close or get off day, I do take off at work sometimes too just to make music. It depends
You know since music hasn’t been giving us penny while we spend on it, we need to rely on the side work to fund it and make the music work.
Your new single “Farabale” which is currently receiving massive acceptance among music lovers. What inspired it?
While writing it, i was thinking of joyous moment like marriages, birthdays and graduations etc. I just want my people to have something to play when they get joyous occasion.
Then as I’m bout to drop it, it sounds old fashioned to me and it’s December so i changed some of the lyrics to give the Farabale people are listening to now.
Who do you see as your mentor in the music industry and why?
Falz & Burna Boy, Because they inspires me with their deep and meaningful lyrics and their style of singing.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Getting millions plays, performing in great concert and touching lives with my music.
