Comedian, Sabinus slams N1bn lawsuit on Peak Milk, N100m on Gala for using his trademarked

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit-maker, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel popularly known as Oga Sabinus has dragged two popular brands to court over intellectual property.

The content creator’s management slammed lawsuits on Peak Milk and UAC, manufacturers of Gala Sausage Roll for utilizing his trademarked phrase and animated image in advertorials without seeking permission or contacting him.

Sabinus’ legal team is demanding N1 billion from Peak Milk over its use of ‘Something Hooge’ in its advert.

Also, a N100 million was demanded from UAC for using his animated picture to promote the Gala sausage.
