Nigerian Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro has reacted to the criticism that has trailed her Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) win.
The 9th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Award was held on Saturday, May 20th at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The movie star had for the second time in a row won the Best Actress in Drama/TV Series for her role in ‘Man of God’.
The actress’ outstanding performance in “Man of God” captivated the hearts of the viewers and earned her much-deserved recognition.
Unfortunately for her, social media users do not agree that the movie star is deserving of the award especially with her being placed alongside Nse Ikpe-Etim and Ini Edo for their roles in Shanty Town.
Taking to the comment section, many faulted the award organization for being impartial. They noted how Osas Ighodaro’s co-star in Man of God, Dorcas Fapson did better than her.
Reacting, Osas Ighodaro who seemed unbothered shared a photo of herself at the award ceremony. The mother of one stated that she is grateful, humbled, and blessed.
She wrote: “Grateful, Humbled, Blessed”.
